Design Theory: Gagné's nine events of instruction
Robert Gagné identified a pattern of instruction that helps learners learn: gain attention, set up objective, connect to prior learning, present new content along with suggestions for how to learn it, let the learner try and provide feedback, do a final assessment, and help the learner apply their new knowledge.
